Projects to be invested in are innovative and sustainable and are aimed at making an impact on children’s lives. Our priority is to ensure that through sourcing of funds we can buy high resolution ultrasound machine, cardiopulmonary bypass circuit machine, catheterisation laboratory anaesthetic machine, theatre consumable,
ICU equipment, consumables and medications.

We seek to obtain all machinery/equipment ideally by lease method (+ maintainance and replacement) contracts. Some of the equipment we are hoping to buy include:

Infrastructure/equipment for anaesthesia/ cardiac theatre
– GE anaesthetic machine with connectivity to the theatre monitors for broad display,
invasive monitoring, neuro-paediatric etc.
– Medtronic and/or equivalent latest cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) machine (+
accessories)
– Fiberoptic flexible bronchoscope (paediatric)
– Near InfraRed Spectroscopy (NIRS)
– Activated clotting time (ACT) machine
-Ultrasound vessel locator (Sonar site)
– Latest ETT tubes and air management sets
– Catheterisation laboratory (powered by Siemens)

We are hoping to also establish an easy, transparent supply chain for consumables (access sheath catheters, wires, devices, drains etc.
